Fairy Tale House

Looking for a fairytale mountain escape in the heart of Triglav National Park?
This charming fairytale alpine house in Trenta is the perfect retreat for one couple, two couples or four friends who want peace, privacy and direct contact with wild nature. Surrounded by forests and mountains, it offers beautiful views of Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak, and the surrounding summits of the Julian Alps.

This is a truly remote nature getaway. No TV, no WiFi – just nature, silence and clear starry nights. Ideal for anyone who wants to spend a few days in pure, untouched wilderness.

THE SPACE

The house contains a few personal belongings of the owner, who sometimes comes here for inspiration for her fairytales. In front of the house you’ll find a garden of stone hearts, which she has been collecting for many years, guarded by two dwarfs.
The cottage is ideal for 2 people seeking romance or 4 adults. The stairs inside are slightly steep.

Sleeping arrangements:
• 1 double bed upstairs
• 2 additional beds on the sofa downstairs

Outside you’ll find:
• a small garden area at the entrance
• a peaceful spot by the woodshed and the riverbank
• a barbecue area on the meadow next to the house
Parking is available for 2 cars.

LOCATION
The house stands in wild, unspoiled nature of Trenta valley in the middle of Triglav National Park, with panoramic views of Triglav and nearby mountain peaks. The valley is closed to traffic, but you can open the barrier with our key and drive all the way to the cottage.

It’s a perfect starting point for:
• mountain tours to Triglav, Prehodavci, Kriški podi and other alpine routes
• walks through the Zadnjica Valley and Trenta Valley
• hikes along the Soča Trail and to the Source of the Soča River
• day trips toward Bovec and other natural attractions

Nearby you will also find:
• Alpine Botanical Garden Julijana 
• Zapotoški Waterfalls
• Canyon Mlinarica

The area is excellent for climbers (including Ozebnik) and for lovers of adrenaline outdoor sports. It’s also perfect for anyone wanting to disconnect from modern life. Expect silence, peace, vast forests, fresh mountain air and the sound of the nearby stream and springs.

The house sits on the forest edge, with beautiful views and close access to the river.

A tourist tax is charged upon arrival, as it is not included in the price.
