VRSNIK – forest cottage with mountain views above the village of Soča

THE SPACE:

Vrsnik is a cozy wooden cottage ideal for families and couples seeking calm, nature and simple comfort. In the upper floor you’ll find two bedrooms for up to four guests. Outside, a peaceful garden with a table, a grill and panoramic mountain views invites you to slow down and enjoy quiet moments in nature.

LOCATION:

The cottage sits in a tranquil valley above the village Soča, surrounded by forest and mountain peaks. This is a perfect starting point for exploring the Soča Valley, the Soča Trail, hiking routes, waterfalls and the Triglav National Park.
Upon arrival, please first check in at our registration point in Trenta (Trenta 41a). From there, we will guide you to the cottage, located about 15 minutes away.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

During your stay, we are available whenever we’re at home, and always reachable by phone. Guests are usually welcomed by Andrejka, who also works at the Trenta Information Centre—a perfect person to ask for tips about the area, hikes and local experiences.

VIHARNIK – secluded cottage in Zadnjica Valley with full privacy

THE SPACE:

Viharnik is perfect for guests who want silence, privacy and untouched nature. The cottage is surrounded by forest, with no neighbors nearby. The upper floor includes two bedrooms for up to five people. Outside, you’ll find a peaceful garden with a table, a grill and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains—an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the calm of Zadnjica Valley.

LOCATION:

Viharnik is located in the magical Zadnjica Valley, known for its dramatic mountain scenery, hiking trails leading toward Triglav, and peaceful forest surroundings. This area is perfect for exploring the Triglav National Park, Soča River, the Soča Trail and numerous natural attractions.
As with Vrsnik, please first arrive at our registration point in Trenta (Trenta 41a). We will then guide you to the cottage, about a 15-minute drive away.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

Your stay includes full privacy in a remote valley. We’re happy to help with any information about the area. Andrejka from the Trenta Information Centre is often the one to welcome you and is a great resource for local recommendations.

Please keep in mind that you have chosen a small cabin in the middle of nature, with no neighbours close by. It is very peaceful, with beautiful views of the mountains. There is no WiFi, but the cabin has electricity and hot water. It’s a perfect place for families or couples to relax and clear their minds. The cabin is also very close to a beautiful waterfall.

Please let us know your arrival time. First, come to our house at the address: Trenta 41a, 5232 Soča. From there, you will follow us to the cabin, which is about a 15-minute drive into nature.

We provide a free parking space, located about 50 meters from the cabin. We recommend buying groceries before you arrive, as there are no shops nearby.
